Functional medicine testing goes a layer deeper, measuring how well the body is actually performing across its core systems rather than simply confirming whether disease markers are present.
At Vital Health, no protocol is prescribed before testing. Every treatment plan is built from test results specific to each client. This is the central principle behind the ROOT Method and the reason functional testing is the starting point for every clinical engagement.

Each test below targets a specific area of physiological function. Domenic recommends which tests are most relevant based on your symptom pattern and health history during your free discovery call. Most clients require two to three tests to build a complete picture.
How the Testing Process Works
Step 1: Free Discovery Call
Discuss your symptoms and history with Domenic. He identifies which tests are most relevant to your presentation and explains the process.
Step 2: Testing
At-home test kits are delivered to your door within 3 to 5 days. Blood-based tests are referred to a pathology centre. Results are typically available within 10 to 14 days.
Step 3: Results and Protocol
Results are reviewed in a dedicated 60 to 90 minute results consultation. You receive a written protocol based directly on your test findings.
