Rejuvenate Your Liver to Fight Fat Forever

Did you know which organ is the most critical in helping you fight fat?

If you said the Liver, then you would be 100% correct. Today I will advise you on the best ways to prevent fat buildup in the first place so you can stay lean and healthy.

There are many nutrients and herbs that help Liver function, but today I’m going to talk about two nutrients and one herb that rejuvenates the Liver very effectively.

Your Liver is the second biggest organ in your body after your skin, and it does all the heavy lifting of breaking down your food and using it to power your body. But, when there’s an excess of nutrients – when you eat a little too much – your Liver is going to take those extra nutrients, turn them into fat, and then send them out into your body to be stored as fatty tissue.

That’s how all kinds of problems start, especially the creation of:

  • Visceral Fat,  a very dangerous hidden fat that accumulates around organs and can contribute to disease and cancer
  • White Adipose Tissue, the fat you can see that builds up and causes obesity
  • Gallstones, which are made of some of the byproducts of fat processing.

You can prevent these problems of excess fat by detoxifying, rejuvenating and optimising the function of your Liver.

The first thing you want to do is increase a substance called glucose tolerance factor (GTF). Your Liver makes it from two nutrients – the mineral chromium and the super-antioxidant glutathione.

GTF acts with insulin (which chromium also contributes to) in order to regulate blood sugar levels and keep your body from turning your excess nutrients into fat.

You dont need much chromium. Only about 400 micrograms a day. But even the foods that give you some chromium like red meat and tomatoes will only give you about a tenth of that. To supplement, a good absorbable form is chromium polynicotinate.

Your body makes glutathione from three amino acids : Glutamine, glycine, and cysteine. So eating foods high in amino acids like meat, eggs and fish will raise your glutathione levels. So will eating Brussels sprouts. You can use glutathione supplements and the one I recommend and give to my clients is Cellgevity. It is the best one in raising your glutathione levels.

Anothe glutathione builder is turmeric from the roots of the circuma longa plant. Tumeric enhances and strenghthens your liver while helping your body metabolise fats. Tumeric has been found to decrease the fat storage rate in liver cells.

The one herb that is magic for your Liver is St. Mary’s Thistle. It has so many liver enhancing properties and it is very useful in guarding the liver from alcohol-induced fatty liver disease.

The end result of these nutrients and herb means that your liver can metabolise extra fats instead of storing them.
